Stairway to Lex | Surreal Dark Art Poster

"Stairway to Lex" is an original ink illustration based on a recurring dream I had many years ago:

I was in a studio apartment-style room, and upon opening the front door, I came across this scene. A column stretches above and below as far as the eye can see in the middle of an immense room containing several other doors, all of which are connected to the column via stairs that disappear and reappear. I believe it to be symbolic of how a dissociated mind stores and processes information, with each 'door' representing specific mentalities and memories and completely disconnected from each other but still sometimes able to reach the consciousness, represented by the column.
